Blog Candy!!!

Whoo-hoo! Half the reason I wanted to start a blog was so I could do blog candy. :) It's just so fun to win something. So here it is.

The ingredients to this candy are a Unity So and So Loves unmounted single, Whipper Snapper Jackson unmounted stamp, Paper Pretties handmade by unmounted stamp, Lost Coast Designs unmounted frame stamp, assorted Papertrey vintage buttons, 3 things (technical term here) of ribbon, lavender Stickles, Oh baby! stamp, pearls, white textured flowers, Celebrate stamp, assorted Nestabilities Labels One cuts, and some Hand-Dyed Hobbies fibers.

To win, just leave a comment telling me one of your favorite things to make for gifts. Do you like to make bookmarks, 3x3 cards, soap, giftable cupcakes??? If you don't make anything, tell me what you like to get as a handmade gift! If you want to link up a project you've made in your comment, go for it! You won't get any extra points but I would love to see your work! :) Anyone can enter, only one comment per person will count, and be sure to leave me a way to get in touch with you or check back. This candy will be open until Sunday night and I will pick a random winner Monday! Thanks!

  1. Oh, I'm first. I love to make felt food for gifts or children (& my store) & love to make purses from felted wool sweaters. I also love to receive stamps, inks, Stickles, etc. (a lot of the things you have in this blog candy).

  2. I would say these days cards is pretty much the main thing I make for people. I used to make counted cross-stitch things for people til I discovered SU and cardmaking. :)

  5. Yay Paula! Nice candy, woman. Never won bc before...wouldn't it be hilarious if the first one I won was yours? Lol! At least you wouldn't have to mail it.:) Since you're sort of undiscovered for the moment, maybe I actually have a chance! My favorite gift item to make is...hmmmmm...JEWELRY! Of course any handmade item is usally accompanied by a handmade card as well. Thanks for getting me addicted to this hobby...and for being my bestie. :)

  6. Great Candy! Humm... besides the obvious making cards, the other handmaid things I like to give as gifts are baked goods and things that I crochet. I have made blankets for people and one year I crocheted care bears for all my neices and nephews, for a total of 10 bears. I was pretty sick of crocheting for a while after that, lol.

  7. Hi Paula! I really like making the altered DVD tins with matching RSVP pens. They are quick, easy, and look fantastic. Everyone I've made them for just loves them. They make useful gifts for teachers. :)

  8. Hmm, depends who it's for! I like making stationery boxes, and I make whole albums for the "grandparents". I also like to cover hershey's nuggets in tins, or stamp covers for suckers and put them in bouquets.

  9. I like making beaded objects (that's my thing right now!). Depends on what we are celebrating, but I have made ornaments, bracelets, and necklaces. I also *try* to make cards but finding a few minutes in my stamp room that is not occupied by the crazy 2 yo in my life is pretty slim pickins!

  11. Hi Paula,

It's been a pleasure meeting you in class! As you know I'm an avid card-maker and absolutely love paper crafts and trying all kinds of new techniques and ideas. I LOVE Rubber-stamping and almost also use a stamped or Digi Image on my cards. Digi images are my newest LOVE and I recently bought quite a few to add to my Digi Library.

My favorite Medium for coloring right now is MY COPIC Markers, this is my current supply - Click Here!

While you are there you will see another card that I made for a "Bildy" card challenge and was based on a Color Inspiration photo. It was a lot of fun and the week before that I actually won a different challenge and won a really cute new "Bildy" Stamp.

You have made some lovely cards and are very talented. I have signed up to follow your blog and will look forward to keeping in touch!

    As always --- Happy Crafting,

    Lisa

  12. Hi Paula,
ARGH! I typed a whole long comment, but then it "disappeared" and Google froze on me, so I am trying again! :)

I am writing to let you know that my BLOG CANDY package arrived today and wanted to be sure to say THANK YOU!

Everything looks very nice and all things I think I can easily put to good use. I now have my VERY FIRST Unity Stamp and had heard of them, but never tried one! THANK YOU!

It's been a pleasure to meet you and see you in classes at My Creative Classroom. I hope we'll be in another class together again soon.

Thank you again and Happy Crafting!!
    Lisa
